Going to the pumpkin patch with the kids is so much fun. We go on a wagon ride and get to choose a pumpkin from the field full of pumpkins and go back to the farm where there are shows, bouncy castles and all sorts of other fun activities.
We go there every year and I usually roast the seeds from the pumpkin and my husband carves the pumpkins with the kids. I once tried to make a pumpkin pie instead, but it seems that the storebought pumpkin puree is much better and a lot more convenient to use.
Whether you make a pumpkin pie, jack o lantern or roast the pumpkin seeds, I hope you find the time to visit a pumpkin patch this fall!
